Sudan TV Live on JumpTV
Sudanese Radio and Television Corporation (SRTC) is the #1 broadcaster in Sudan (under the Sudan TV brand), with a totally dominant domestic market share and a sophisticated management team.
The 3rd of December, 1962 marks the initial day of broadcast for the very first TV in Sudan. It was a one-year experimental broadcast restricted to Khartoum, launched from the radio studio in Omdurman with 100 Watts of power, and equipment provided by the Thompson Company. Reception initially was reserved for distribution to main squares and parks, and to some ministers!
SRTC produces a lot of its own content, with over 10 hours per day of fresh and unique, globally compliant content.
Needless to say, Sudan is one of the largest countries in Africa and has an international diaspora highly interested in the ongoing news from the homeland and breaking stories and events - not to mention sports, drama and comedy!
