About Chef Ramzi

Born in Hadath, Beirutin 1971. Completed secondary education in the school of Our Lady Of Jamhour in Lebanon. Obtained in 1992 a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from Lyon’s University, France. Studied Culinary Arts in Bournemouth Institute and London University, England and was awarded the following diplomas:

City and Guilds of London
Food Hygiene from the Environmental Health Officers
Catering for the Industry

Received training in France with the International French Chef, Jean Masson and graduated from his reputed Institute La Minaudière. 

Studied Baking and Pastry Arts with the French Chef Bernard Moine and was granted honorary membership in the French syndicate of Baking and Dessert making Arts.

Joined in 1992 the Al-Kafaât Foundation, Lebanon and has served as the General Director of its Hotel Management Institute since 1995 as well as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation. Developed, advanced, and expanded the Institute to attain in 2001 official status as University Academy for Hotel Management Arts. 

Joined in 1994 Future Television Network "Alam Al Sabbah" live Morning Show program, in which he has been presenting his educational and training program
in Hotel Management Arts. He has to his credit to date over 3000 live shows in both the local and satellite broadcasting channels.

Published on July 1, 1998 the first of his collection of books which attained record sales figures in the Arab world. Hailed by prominent press and media as the premier Chef in the Arab world, namely:

The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Associated Press, L'Express, Le Courrier International, La Presse (Montreal), The BBC, Radio Monte Carlo, Radio France International

Established in 2001 The "Chef Ramzi" industrial company for the production of "Chef Ramzi" ready-to-eat meal dishes of specialty recipes, packaged for international export and distribution.

Published in August 2001 the second book in his collection: “Chef Ramzi from the Lebanese Heritage”, which was later translated into French and Portuguese and is waiting to be translated into English, Spanish, Italian…

Established in 2003 the "Chef Ramzi" magazine which is a big success now in Lebanon and the Arab world. Translation of books 
Published in October 2003 the edition of his first best-seller book entitled “Chef Ramzi”, in which he gathers international recipes.
